review 1: Beautiful book, just the way that I expected!Loved the illustration style, the colors, and the different ways that he approaches comics. The cover is amazing, making me wanna buy more stuff from Nobrow. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is 'cause it's too short. I mean, ok, it's meant for children (not 23 years old illustrators like myself), and Nobrow has a limit of pages for his publications. But I think that if you gave this guy more pages he'd make and even more awesome book! For anybody that loves good illustration and imaginative stories.

... moresited regularly by a wood man, who guides Hilda home after she becomes lost in the woods. And Hilda and her foxlike companion (Twig) discover a troll when they are out exploring. It is not the terrible menace they have been led to expect. The full-color Hildafolk combines elements familiar and fantastical in a rather wonderful, whimsical way. Looking forward to future Hilda tales. less
