review 1: This was a fun read, with an interesting lead character who grows and changes as the story progresses. The plot device of having zombie-chopping Allison writing a blog sometimes felt slightly strained as the author had to keep inserting wi-fi references throughout, but it did allow for some great humour and moving moments as Allison communicates with other survivors throughout the world. There are probably more zombie books than zombies out there at the moment, but this is one of the more entertaining takes on the subject. I've bought the follow up, and look forward to reading it.

... moreat it is a pretty enjoyable ride. It is not as dark as walking dead, but there is appropriate challenges that would come with the breakdown of civilization as well as some totally banannas silliness ( fanatical religious cults) as well. I liked it a lot. less

This is a basic book but there is enough there to keep you reading. Finished it in an evening.
