review 1: Into the gauntlet is the end of a 10 book series. Main characters Amy and Dan Cahill are at the end of the road, for the search of the 39 clues. Not only do they have to find the 39 clues they now have to reunite there backstabing family. Into the gauntlet was an OK book to me. I think it put to Mich imformation into one last book. Maybe if they had one more book after it would clear up the congestion. But overall it an exciting, action packed book with suorises everywhere.
review 2: This is my favorite book of the series. I loved the suspense of this final installment and how all the different teams, including the Starling triplets, are trying to discover the serum made by Gideon Cahill. Ms. Haddix has a true talent for keeping a reader in suspense. I highl... morey recommend this series for all young readers. It's an interesting story as well as a good way to get young minds working to solve all the puzzles and codes. less
