Hunters, hijinks and danger abound as the pride comes together for one heck of a battle.My Thoughts:Going into this book I didn't realize it was part of a series and I detest going into series cold however, I really enjoyed this book and figure it is a welcome change. When Stacey thought she would be single for ever she put on a good show of indifference or down right bitchiness. Dean was a bad boy but sweet character, he knew who he was waiting for..and since she is back there is no doubt he wil pursue her and make her his mate. I won't go into a lot of detail here other than to say the book was good but a bit light read. I will be searching out the series and start at the beginning to read it all. Once I read the first I would be able to come back and review this further.3.5 stars for this book. Now I"m off to find Cougar Falls series.
review 2: Once again Marie Harte delivers another great read! The Cougar Falls series is sexy, fun and action packed. Dean and Stacey are Two cats who dance around each other and fall in love. The humor and banter of the characters adds balance to the action, as well as, reminds us that Stacey is not as snobby as she appears. The reader comes to see she wears attitude like armor, but Dean sees beneath to the woman within. Stacey realizes that Dean is not just a pretty boy who is more intelligent than the prankster he pretends to be. The love scenes are hot and fit with the give and take between the couple. It is a fast, enjoyable read. While it can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the first four books, it helps to build the relationships with the secondary characters and explains the town of Cougar Falls!! less
