review 1: This book was on our "New Shelf" at work. I had to pick it up. This is a story about a wolf who is very full of himself. He thinks he is the best looking animal in the forest. He comes across Little Red Riding Hood and asks her who is the most handsome creature in the woods? She says that it is him. Mr. Wolf then meets the Three Little Pigs, Snow White, and 7 dwarves. He asks each of them in turn who is the most handsome animal in the woods. They all reply that it is him. Finally, he meets a baby dragon. He asks the dragon the same question and the dragon answers, "My dad and he taught me to do this..." The baby dragon breathes fire onto the wolf and burns off most of his hair. Mr. Wolf is now no longer the most handsome creature in the fo... morerest.
review 2: Sometimes it's possible to be too full of yourself and too confident about how great you look. In this amusing story. the wolf cleans himself and goes out for a stroll in the woods. With everyone he meets--characters from fairy tales and nursery rhymes such as Little Red Riding Hood, the Seven Dwarves,even Snow White, he seeks reassurance of his good looks. He gets his comeuppance, though, when he encounters a baby dragon. This one is a great readaloud. less
