review 1: Darius is a warrior of Anubis, who is tasked to dispatch evildoers to the Underworld to be judged by Anubis. It's the same shifter story with a fated mate, biting, immortality, but different in the sense Darius shifts into a half-jackal being complete with a kilt. A bit dragging. In one scene where Darius is about to face the demon, Brisa says, “Just promise me you won’t do anything that will get you killed. I just got my immortality, I don’t want to lose it on the same day.” That's right, he dies, you die! Selfishness accepted! Hahaha.
review 2: Good read but very short and quick. Darius is a soldier for Anubis and is charged with sending evildoers to the underworld. He meets Brisa one night as she is working in a bar. They develop a relationship bu... moret every time they try to get intimate he threatens to change into his Anubis warrior form and he has to leave. When evil demons come after Brisa, he protects her. The story is very erotic and mostly about Darious and Brisa working out their relationship. less
