review 1: I was really looking forward to this book. I absolutely adored her "Guitar Notes". And I did like this one. However, it left me unsatisfied. It was short, and not so much in the "I want to now what happened next" way, but more like stories were only partially told, significant characters lacked dimension, things were unresolved. We waited for the story line about the father to come together, and while we met him, explanations for what had happened were minimized. I will certainly be waiting for her next book, but I was a little disappointed by this one.
review 2: What a happy read! The title is fitting for the story but also the mood. You get happy just by reading this light hearted tale. I was surprised by this book. I was not expecting such a humorious
... moretale of a teen by the synopsis. I was expecting to have a drama filled book with a teen that you get a bit annoyed with. Completely the opposite here and I am so excited it was. I really enjoyed this book. I love laugh out loud comedy and this book has it. I found myself reading this straight through and laughing most of the way. I really like Minerva. She is such a joy to read about. Her journey is great and I am so happy that I got to experience it! less
