The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place
review 1: The author continues to do an amazing job resolving compelling conflicts in each book, yet leaving the "big" questions unanswered. Why were the children raised by wolves? What role does Judge Quinzy play in all of this, and what is he hiding? What are the paintings in the attic about? And what secrets is Lord Ashton keeping from his wife? I love the author's unique writing style, charming characters and Swanburne-isms. An adorable series. I can't wait to read the next.
review 2: This was very fun to listen to with my kids and mostly worth the significant increase in howling in our house since we started the series. I'm a little fatigued with how long it's taking for the secrets to be revealed, and I'm not sure if the series is going to hold my interest long eno
... moreugh to finish the whole thing. My children, however, are unlikely to have similar trouble. They pushed the book-laden jogging stroller the entire 2.5 miles home from the library yesterday periodically tilting the front wheel up and yelling, "Giddyup, Rainbow!" before taking off down the sidewalk. My progeny are truly incorrigible. less

Not sure what I think of these books...and then the ending is never a real ending each time.
