But the Raikage refuses and leaves for the summit. Angered, Naruto, Kakashi and Yamato find a place to stay, but their stay is interrupted by a visit from Madara Uchiha, who tells Naruto the truth about Itachi and why Sasuke wants to destroy the village. Naruto says that Madara's lying, that he's manipulating Sasuke, but Madara maintains that Sasuke made the choice on his own. Meanwhile, tensions rise at the summit and it appears the only Kage with any sense left if young Gaara, Kazekage of the Sand Village. When it is revealed that the Hokage Danzo possess a Sharingan that was stolen from Shisui, an Uchiha whose eyes allowed him to control others, the distrust among the Kages spread. Things only get worse when Sasuke and his team attack at the summit, leading to a confrontation between the young Uchiha boy and the Raikage who hates him so.Quote: "Senju and Uchiha... review 2: A very wordy volume, tempered by some flashy fight scenes and a good deal of plot turns and revelations. The bulk of the story is focused on the politics and action going on around the Gokage Summit, but there's enough scenes of Naruto and Sasuke in their respective storylines to keep the focus where it should be. Volume 50 should be interesting, since it has THAT CHAPTER that as a Sakura/Naruto shipper makes me rage a bit. less
