review 1: I have read the name of the star but ended up a bit disappointed. I expected something completely different.I didn't have a clue that it was a ghost-story until in the middle of the book. I am not familiar with Maureen Johnsons writing.I loved the concept of a boarding school ghost story but I thought it was a bit predictable. In the last chapters I had an idea how it was going to end.It was not my cup of tea but I can imagine that others will enjoy it.I'm not exactly a thriller fan,it was a step out of my comfort zone.
review 2: 4 and 1/2 stars. This sat on my night table for over a month. I was turned off by the cover. The hardback cover of my copy was wrong on so many levels. Neither of the people on the cover are people in the book. I assume one was a murde
... morer victim and the other never made an appearance in this book. So lame.I'm so glad I read the book finally, though. It was funny, scary, and interesting. I'd totally read a sequel. less
