review 1: This book truly brings you to the era of British Regency. It has a unique plot, with twists and breathtaking reveals. It depicts a love story of two people who grew up from different worlds, and although outside forces still continued to tear them apart, they still found a way to make it in each other's arms. This is a must read for those who want to sit at the edge of their seats! :)
review 2: Story of Lord Simon St. Maur (Earl of Rushden) and Lady Cornelia Aubyn, the former earl's daughter stolen away as a child) who is the long lost heiress who inherited all that was not entailed, as well as her twin sister Katherine. I wish more time was spent on the twins getting to know each other. The heroine seemed so arrogant and disrespectful once removed to the Earl
... more's home; which seemed unusual given her station from the rookeries of London. Didn't see why she was squirelling things away to steal after it was explained to her that the whole house was hers, if she only played her part. So she seemed kind of dumb to me. Not much action, the booked dwelled on the inner thoughts of the hero and heroine. less
