review 1: You will never get a typical historical romance from Ms. Duran and this gem was no exception. At times I had tears in my eyes as we uncover the truth of what occurred with Nora and Adrian 7 years ago. I just wish the ending could have been drawn out a bit to watch Nora and Adrian just be in love and not have the Sword of Damocles hanging over their heads. Lovely read though and I hate that I had it on my TBR for so long.
review 2: Very powerful,real,deep aand different. I was touched and humbled by their love to each other. The only thing that I've found hard to like, is the language,hard for me to grasp so maybe that's why :) anyway.it suits its era, so me complaining about that, would not be just. And best last pages I've ever read in a historical romance. no... moret an easy thing to manage without turning to obvious scenes and declarations.. real nice :) she simply does not disappoint,strong writer, I respect her, highly less
