review 1: I don't always expect a lot from the second book in a trilogy because it seems like they're often nothing more than a bridge to the next one, and don't stand really well on their own. This book, however, did a pretty good job of that. The characters remained consistent and interesting, and the newly introduced characters grew on me quickly and I was soon invested in their story. The tragedy and horror gets a lot more personal in this second book and you really get to realize how much bigger than these kids this whole conspiracy is. I can't wait to see how they finally succeed in defeating the corporation. Unfortunately, looks like we'll have to wait until August for a resolution, as the last book is not yet out.
review 2: ARC REVIEW- This kicks in with action a
... morend new characters you won't want to miss. The beginning reviews enough from the last book to refresh your mond while a whole new asventure is unfolding. The multiple POVs hot me excited and connected to different things at once. Though it is slightly annoying when it switches from one action scene to another when I really wanted to read more but otherwise it's very interesting. Chilling chases all the way until the very end leave you wondering and grasping for more. Sudden love, slow love, shattered love are all in here with danger quick on watch. The romance is swept in neatly ticked in the corners until it's ready to bite. In different stages, I can't decide what moments I'd want most. The writing styles pushed my emotions every where but the bad and the betrayal can really get to me. Few slightly obvious clues give an easy prediction that come to the light eventually. The panic-stricken action kept me reading all through the night so it's definitely drawing. So much happens it gets so strong but you can still tell how the characters and author change. less

It was alright. I enjoyed the first one more, possibly because it had more action, and such.

Better than the first, an enjoyable read. Lost stars for swearing and innuendo.
