review 1: If books where the characters have to use their wits & computer knowledge to escape bad guys are what you like then this is the book for you. Now wakes up on an operating table with no idea of how she got tHere. Peter's door is kicked in by men in black & all they take is his computer. Never having met before Noa & Peter find themselves thrust into this world where they are being hunted. Armed only with their brains and a computer they have to solve the mystery of what the men want or be captured or worse.
review 2: It is hard to pinpoint why I didn't like this book very much. Nothing particularly bothered me, but my general feeling after finishing it is just "blah." It was supposed to be a suspenseful book with some action, but I was never actually worried f... moreor the characters. The "mystery" is revealed very quickly and then the rest of the book is just going through the motions. No new information is given, and there are no surprises. The premise isn't that exciting, and the world-building is non-existent because it just takes place in the regular present-day world. I liked the main characters fine, but their story is just so boring I will not read any more of this series. less
