... moreep an eye out for her return. Young readers will anticipate that Mama is in for a surprise when she walks in, but they probably won't anticipate the ending. This sweet story with its pen and ink illustrations vividly depicts familial love with rythmic text that repeats certain lines. At times, the rythmn seems a bit awkward, but several lines work wel.. I loved the facial expressions on the little pigs and the mess they made in the kitchen. less
