review 1: Great series continues. Things are getting more complex, but the story continues to move forward with its steady pacing and rhythm. Never rushed, but it does move with a kind of relentless progress. The main character has advanced significantly in the course of three books, yet the author is able to maintain the challenges in front of him. Thoughtful considerations of identity and purpose, of goodness, loyalty and honor, continue. Anxious to proceed with book four, and then we'll be waiting a bit for the next book after that to become available.
review 2: Great story line, character development. The only thing that I wished was different was that the author went more in-depth with the storyline even for the Isle of Bones, or anything else. Yes, that would h... moreave made the book longer but it would have been nicer for it to be more in-depth. They are on an adventure after all and I know that the traveling can seem long but that writing is needed. Absolutely loved it! I always hate waiting for books to come out or for me to buy them. So I am glad I didn't have to wait long to read this. Still clean and has good language. Good for any age really. less
