review 1: Good sequel to Midwinter Sacrifice. Continues the story of Malin Fors the dectective in Linkoping and her department. This time girls are going missing around their area and whilst her own daughter is in Bali on holiday Malin feels safe but wants to solve the crimes before Tove gets home. She is in a race against time and trying to deal with the hottest summer they have known making thinking difficult. Once I got used again to the translation to english I loved this book. Mons Kallentoft is a rare breed of male author that seems to have a fairly good understanding of the female mind.

This was a very interesting thriller about a police woman trying to find a killer stalking young girls durin... moreg a long and hot summer. I am interested in reading the first book in the series to understand more of the background story of the main character Malin Fors. A long story but it really kept me interested from beginning to the end. less
