review 1: Although the plot of the story was intense and gripping, there were moments towards the end of the book where I felt that characters were being introduced purely because there was no other way for the story to come to a close. There were also many grammatical errors in the text, which bothered me quite a lot. Despite the fact I would recommend reading this book, I wouldn't recommend paying the full price for it; great story idea but poorly executed.
review 2: The third book in the series and Jenny Cooper still irritates the hell out of me, but there is something in the books, the writing that keeps drawing me back for more. In this instalment Jenny comes face to face with her past and discovers the reason for her memory block from early childhood. This time I ... moregot bored with the courtroom drama and felt at times it became farcical. I admit to getting a bit lost with all the characters at one point and had to re-read portions of the book to clarify who was who. I'm hoping for a more balanced Jenny Cooper in the fourth book! less
