review 1: This is the best organizational leadership book I've read in years. I've always been a fan of Lencioni, but this book takes the best of his content and incorporates it into a simple, concise, but very thorough process for establishing and maintaining organizational health. In a culture that is constantly cranking our gimmicks, quick-fixes, and sensational stories of success that are grossly misleading, The Advantage is a breath of fresh common sense and unsexy reality. This should be read by the leadership of every business, non-profit, and church and used for the structure of it's leadership gatherings moving forward. Seriously.
review 2: This is an outstanding work in the field. It brings together a number of different organizational dynamics into one cohes
... moreive picture that is also REAL. Many leadership books try and give a cogent theory or explanation, but fall short of reality. This one accomplishes both. Some of the concepts and body of knowledge behind what Lencioni says requires further examination to really understand it. But this should be the starting paradigm through which those further resources are filtered and retained. less
