review 1: The early section of this book really drags on longer than it needs to, its fairly obvious who the villain is and what has happened but the author goes on and on for pages and pages rehashing the same bits, I found myself skipping almost every alternate page in the first half.An in what has become a hallmark of this series he rushes to the end neatly wrapping everything up like a weekly sitcom, would have been better if the start was edited down and the end was fleshed out more
review 2: OK so I have audibly inhaled this series despite a having misgivings about the first one. I loved 14 and was willing to give the series a go - superheroes? Interesting premise and set up, zombies, not so much. Yes I wanted this last one to go further, final fight scene was fru... morestrating and inconsistent & made me wonder if Clines was working to a deadline.Overall have enjoyed it. More 14 please. less
