review 1: Utter drivel. I was trying to finish this to add to my total of books read for the year but at the half way point I decided I had better things to do with two hours of my life. Yes, the writing is so light that it's only taken me about that long to get through 300 pages of the paperback edition. I did try to think of some redeeming features of the characters, plot or writing, but unfortunately I couldn't.
review 2: I found this book both equally compelling and disturbing, the reason it wasn't a higher rating was because the books time span, alters rather a lot, the first 3 years are extremely rushed to a point where it slows down, where there is a long period of chapters that are only a few days. Books that change how time passes often get confusing. The charac
... moreters weren't exactly believable, and Naomi's diary and johns inner thoughts didn't really develop their character. The central concept was very interesting, and explored genetic sciences well, with a final poke of jest at its limitations in modern society in the final pages of this book. This book was ok, and was bloody creepy! less
