BOOK OF THE MONTH (Feb ’17): More Than Forever by Jay McLean

I have read a lot of romance novels that I deemed “epic” and I have also featured them on the blog. However, there is one I haven’t yet and I can’t really recall why I haven’t gushed all over this one. This novel left a deep impact on me. I did a re-read recently, something I rarely do, but I did it for this one because I wanted to feel that emotionally engaging experience once again.

Few love stories get to me but Cameron and Lucy’s did. I never aspired for true love before but after reading their story, I wanted one of my own. Maybe not as heartbreaking as theirs but as beautiful nonetheless. Warning: you will be needing a pack–or two–of tissues for this one. (A separate review can be found here.)

More Than Forever by Jay McLean

Genre: New Adult

“Because it’s eternal, the rise and fall of the sun. It’s forever. Just like us.”

SYNOPSIS:

-LUCY-
There is a love so fierce it cannot be measured.
A heart so strong it will never slow.
There is a promise so sure it can never lie.
He promised me that love forever.
Even when it wasn’t enough.

-CAMERON-
Forever. Everlasting. Eternal.
There is no measure of time.
No sounds of the ticking of a clock.
Just the rising and falling of the sun.
And our own sense of forever.

But our forever isn’t always.
