Delilah Mayflowers

I am happy to have a bit of time to finally work on my Delilah Quilt again! It seems like forever since I have been able to concentrate on anything but Christmas and cleaning. But I am ready and back to my pre-Thanksgiving and Christmas projects. Yea!!

Today I was able to work on the Mayflower Blocks of the Jen Kingwell Delilah Quilt I have been working on.

It was wonderful to take out my fabrics and templates and cut away. The cutting is always the hardest part of this particular quilt.

There are so many little pieces and each one is cut separately with the templates that I get in the mail each month.

It is a bit time consuming, but it is worth it in the end. I mean really, just look at how cute this Block is!

And if you are joining in the MYSTERY QAL, you will notice that I have included the Flutter By MYSTERY fabric in a few of my Blocks of my blocks. I’m so sneaky:)!

I certainly stitched my share of Y-Seams on these blocks. I do believe I am getting quite competent at them now. Practice makes perfect!

I really am quite pleased with how they all turned out.

My next set of blocks is a bunch of circles that look like “o”s. I guess it’s just an x’s and o’s few days of quilting. That just really fits how I feel about this quilt. Hugs and kisses! So SWEET❤️❤️

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you have an X’s and O’s type of day too!
