Hi everyone! My name’s Delilah! I am so excited to meet you! Don’t I look great in this photo? I can’t remember but I think mommy took this picture of me.
Mommy rescued me from a shelter called “Pet Orphans of Southern California” back in 2012. I’ve been through a lot of abuse and trauma so I can’t quite remember what happened to me back then but all I know is I am forever loved by mommy and her family and friends.
Her friends start singing this song that goes something like, “Hey there delilah… what’s it like in New York City? I’m a thousand miles away but girl, tonight you look so pretty, yes you do…” And I’m thinking, wait, don’t we live in Seattle? What do you mean a thousand miles away? You’re right in front of me!
I think I am part Doberman and a Pitbull mix, that’s what my name tag said at the shelter. I used to be a mommy, but my pups were taken from me right after I gave birth to them.
I am currently 7 years old, but don’t I still look like a puppy? Oh guess what? My birthday on Valentine’s Day! You know what that means! I get extra lovin’ by my mommy. It’s coming up next month! yay~
Some people think that I’m a boy doggo and they say I look handsome. I pout at them and show them my pink collar and they say, “oh I mean she!”
I tend to bark at strangers because I get suspicious of them, they might be trying to hurt mommy and I won’t let that happen!
I usually bark at men more than I do women. I bark really loud and scary when someone knocks at the door or if I sense a mailman coming towards my home. Sometimes, mommy gets scared of my barks and she says, “Delilah! Shh!!”
Mommy says Pink is my color and that I look beautiful~
Do you think pink is my color? This is the first piece of clothing mommy ever bought me! She says it’s always hard to find clothes that fit me at Petco because body size isn’t so slender or small. Hopefully, she buys me more clothes soon!
