review 1: A good Bonnie and Clyde type killing spree. Virgil Flowers, investigator for the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension in the state of Minnesota, has been assigned to find the killers and bring them to justice. He runs into a sheriff and his deputies that would like to take the law into their own hands. They figure it's better to shoot the killers rather than bring them in alive. Wow, I love John Sandford's novels! Gripping, edge-of-seat stuff. I could hardly put it down.
