I don’t really go out at night. I’m more of a “home buddy” most of the time. I enjoy music more at home, in my room, than at some stuffy and crowded places outside my comfort zone.
But… there’s always an exception to the rule. This year in August we celebrated Kadayawan festival in Davao City. For those who are not from Davao City, Kadaywan is a festival celebrated annually in the month of August (usually in mid-August) an in which the locals perform various traditional activities like Cultural dancing, wearing traditional clothes and costumes on parades, and eating or selling our very own tropical fruits along the side-walks. This is actually the locals’ way of giving thanks to the gifts of nature, wealth of culture, and everything we have here in Davao.
So… for the first time in my 28 years of existence, I (with my son) decided to join my friends and went out for a taste of a night life. We went to MTS. It is one, if not the most, of the popular entertainment hub of the city.
There is no entrance fee so you are free to check out the place first and decide later on how you can enjoy the ambiance.
Below are some of the food booths or small resto-bars you can find in MTS.
