Book Blurb:

Mik’s more than willing to put his vendetta aside, until Pam becomes the target of the Russian thugs that have infiltrated Havenport’s coast. He’d die to keep her safe.

They’d both sworn to never love again. Will they learn to never say never?

My Review:

A huge snowstorm has hit Havenport and everyone is hunkering down. Pam is safe and sound in her house when her dock alarm wakes her up from a deep sleep. She gets bundled up and goes down to investigate. After many tries, she manages to maneuver the lost boat into her boathouse. She discovers a frozen, wet handsome man aboard. She brings him inside and offers him hot comfort food and warm clothes. There’s something dangerously familiar about her sexy Russian companion but she can’t place him.

Mik’s a man on a mission and he swore he would never love again, not after Natasha. But he feels his walls slipping away every time he loses himself in Pam’s gaze. Can he reveal his murderous past to her or is it too late for redemption? Two Russian adversaries hunt him down and put Pam’s life in jeopardy. Is history repeating itself or is it time to let love in?

I loved this romantic suspense by Ruth A. Casie. She has a special gift for amping up the suspense while making you swoon at the same time. In this story, she reveals two people swearing off love due to past hurts. But love doesn’t listen and instead whispers, “never say never.” Mystery, Russian spies, a blizzard all combine with sizzling chemistry in this romantic suspense. A must read and highly recommend!

Favorite Character/Quote:

“No. Never again. Her life was fine. She was fine. No longer would she assume the part of the victim. Heroine. That’s the role she wanted.”
