Rita Ora has done it again. Just when the whole world thought that she wouldn’t reprise the success that she got with her debut album ORA and the singles released from that project, she has done it again.
And Yeah, i’m quite aware that she hasn’t released a sophomore album in years. We all keep on waiting for that miracle to happen (Actually it’s my New Years wish). But as I was saying, Miss Ora, or as she’s known on blogs and forums, FIRO (stands for Fashion Icon Rita Ora), has released a magnificent piece of art, an anthem, the song you would like to hear on your wedding day and the rest of the year on repeat.
I’m talking about “Anywhere“, the second promotional single of her new, yet unnamed, second album. The track was written by Ali Tamposi, Brian Lee, Digital Farm Animals and its producers Alesso, Andrew Watt and Sir Nolan. It is a wistful, dance-pop and electropop love song about escapism, featuring a breakdown of stuttering vocal loops that really make you happy and cheer you up to dance.
The music video shows Ora posing and dancing across New York city, dressed as the fashion icon that she is and providing a nostalgic feeling on every visual. So far the song has reached #2 in the UK and top 10 on other important markets. The music video has more than 35 million views.
And now I believe in love again, take me anywhere away with you…
