It’s a new month (already! I cannot believe it) which means its time for a new tbr. Even though I am TERRIBLE at sticking to these – I never know what I’ll be in the mood for – I do have some books which I tentatively have here that I’m pretty sure I’m gonna read this month!
1: Gap Year in Ghost Town by Michael PryorI’ve been looking forward to the release of this book all year so when it came out I bought it straight away! All I really know it its about ghost hunting in Melbourne, and thats all I really needed to know for me to be on board. It’s been getting some great reviews and I’m excited to dive in
2: The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
Don’t judge me but I want to reread The Raven Cycle already. I only read it just over a year ago, but lately I just have really wanted to reread it and experience it now I’ve finished the series and know what happens? This is one of those series where there are so many clues on the way, so going back after finishing should be really fun. I am also hoping to read The Dream Thieves but I will see how I feel about continuing on
3: WANT by Cindy Pon
Another book I was highly anticipating in 2017! This one actually came out a few weeks ago but I’m only just getting around to it now. It’s about a ragtag group of kids, a corrupt government and a little heist and thats all my favourite tropes in one! It’s set in Taipei and this one goes towards my #DiversityBingo which is good because times running out to finish that challenge
4: The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch
I’m already about 100 pages into this from last month, but I put it down when TheReadingQuest started and now I want to finish it! I liked what I read so far but its a book that takes time so most of my month will probably be spent on finishing this one up \
5: University Reading
As always there is uni reading to be done so this month I’m going to be reading Death and the Kings Horseman: A Play by Wole Soyinka and Man Tiger by Eka Kurniawan
And thats everything I have planned! It is kind of a short tbr this month, but since Locke Lamora is quite long its probably going to take up all my time. What has everyone else got planned in September?
