Travelling by train in Cambodia

Travelling by train is popular for people around the wold, we can save much money and time also, it’s depends on speed and how fast the train is. In some country especially Europe country, most of people use train everyday for going to work to escape from traffic congestion and save environment too.

In Cambodia, travelling by train is not so popular for people, because the speed is slow. The railway station always open for passengers every weekend not everyday. You have to book tickets first at least 2 days.

It’s a little slow, but what you never expected is, you will can see the great views throw the window. The train start from Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia, across three provinces such as: #Takeo, #Kampot and #Seyhanuok vile.

Passengers can see the natural view at rural villages in many districts, mountains, green field in the rainy season, farms, and livelihood of people along the railway.

  • If you want to travel to Takeo Province you have to Spend around 4 hours,
  • If you want to travel to Kampot Province you have to Spend around 6 hours,
  • If you want to travel to Seyhanuok vile you have to Spend around 7 hours,

You can test the community foods at the railway station in each province. It’s best for you to experienced with it!
