review 1: It was OK. I bought it on my Kindle for 99 cents. But it was only 53 pages so I read it in about 25 minutes or less. I didn't know it was such a short book. I usually read series in order but didn't realize this one was so far down and was just made, I guess, as a short story. I think I would enjoy the character but her earlier books of this character are pricier. I did enjoy Her Royal Spyness first book by the same author.
review 2: I love Rhys Bowen. Molly Murphy was the first of her mystery series that I read--actually, the first mystery series I've ever read--and she is great. Spunky, persistent, and bold, she takes on turn of the century New York (and Ireland!) despite the fact that she is an Irish immigrant who, in other circumstances (like my gre

This is a prelude to the next Molly Murphy novel available as an e-book only, and the best of these that Rhys has written. A great opportunity to try Rhys Bowen, and then to move on to one of her great series. less
