review 1: Im torn between rating a 3 or a 4 star, i settled for 3 out of respect for my other 4 star books. Blood Promise is probably the weakest book so far in the series, hopefully the last 2 arent like this. The plot goes like this: first it's dragging filled with plot fillers, then it's frustrating and I hate when books frustrate me, finally in the last 100 pages or less the plot finally picks up into something exciting and ends with a twist. Not a bad book, but I rated the last 2 books a 5 so this was disappointing
review 2: I had a really productive day apparently and finished a lot of books I was almost done. This was another one. I really liked this book. It was amazing to see Rose finally do something for herself. Meeting Dimitri's family and learning more about
... more his life was nice. I think the way Richelle Mead created the bond between Rose and Lissa was a great way to have Lissa and the other academy students present. I think the character development in this book was AMAZING! Rose hitting rock bottom and building herself up. Lissa doing the same. It was all really great and Richelle definitely knows how to write characters. I've already started book 5 and I cannot wait to see where this goes. less

I don't like the idea of Dimitri alive, she deserves to continue and get over him.
