review 1: Loved the whole concept of this plot. The fight within both Aiden and Viktor to balance what is the right thing to do as a whole and what's right for themselves. The mystery flowed beautifully and kept my interest from page one to the last, which I never wanted to come. The connection between the two men is obvious, instantaneous, and distant, even if the distant part is of Viktor's making all on his own. Definitely a must read.
review 2: I enjoyed this and would've probably been a 4 star except that I haven't read the Sanctuary series and in parts I felt I really should've even though this purports to be the first in a new series - admittedly connected to Sanctuary but I didn't feel entirely comfortable with it as a standalone - all the references to chara
... morecters I'd never met were a bit distracting. That said this was a nice read full of action, though I did also sort of feel I'd have liked some deep begging from Vik but then Aiden should've been the one demanding it and all indications were he is and will remain a bit of a pushover and the main conciliator in the relationship. less

This story didn't quite work for me. I didn't care for the MCs. But the ending was cute :-)
