review 1: A quick fast paced story plenty of laughs . The story is told through emails. A writer her Husband is a Producer leaves her for a younger women. Her book deal falls through. She shares everything with her friends via email her sorrow, pain, joy and hurt. Until she leaves her phone at a new boyfriends and he reads all the emails. Her life is in shambles. I laughed and i cried along with her. I look forward to reading more books by Robert Bryndza.
review 2: For a flighty summer read, this book is pretty good. A new take on the diary style books telling the story from 1st person perspective. A cute story which kept me entertained. ... moreaid writing, which few people use in emails. I just kept reminding myself Coco is a novelist by trade, so that kind of explains the choice. Overall, the plot was well written, but I'm not convinced I need to read the second book. There is a sample in the ebook format, so I might read that to see if I just have to find out what happens next. less
