review 1: So this is more like a 3.5 than a 4. I really really really wanted to love this book. I'd heard so many great things about it and just the fact that it was a Beauty and the beast retelling had me super excited. It took me a long time to get into this one. Like 124 pages long lol. After that it was all great and decently action packed, but considering it took nearly half the book to really peak my interest, I can't add this book to my favorites. That being said, I'm glad I finished it. The second half of this book was pretty entertaining. The world building was impressive and I didn't hate the love story. If you find yourself with nothing to read and some time on your hands, pick this one up. Be patient, it gets better, I promise!
review 2: I read this book in a... more total of 4 hours. I was absolutely wrapped up in this book, I wasn't expecting much, since it isn't the kind of book I read often , but man I'm glad I did. If what your craving is the kind of book that will get you addicted within the first few chapters then your in luck, you found it. The only complaint I have about this one was the ending being a little confusing, still great, but a tad confusing. But still leaving me very satisfied and wishing the book hadn't ended. less
