review 1: Good plot, reasonably suspenseful, good romance scenes. I was a little surprised that the first romance scene was so early on in the book, we hardly knew anything about the characters and they were getting intimate so quickly - not the way a usual romance is written. I look forward to reading other books by Roxanne St. Claire, including the 2 previous books in the series. BTW it doesn't matter if you read this book before you read the other 2 as there isn't that much information about characters from the other books, so you shouldn't get too confused by the mention of characters you haven't heard of.
review 2: This was really good. I loved the heroine, she was strong, adventurous, and honest. Colt..oh my. Colt, he is my dream guy, a little nerd, a little old sc... morehool, and a LOT of hot, alpha male in him when it comes to his female. The one thing about this book that I didn't like was that it was a little too long. I found myself skipping pages towards the end, but other than that, Face of Danger has everything one would want it a Romantic Suspense novel. Will look forward to more books in this series. I would absolutely LOVE to see a book with Chessie. I would definitely buy that. less
