review 1: Here's how this book starts: "Ian Hunt is less than an hour from the end of his shift when he gets the call from his dead daughter". Missing for seven years, and now nearly 15, Ian's daughter Maggie has managed to briefly escape the prison she's been in to call the local police for help. And she gets her father, the dispatcher. What follows is a fast paced, extremely violent, mostly implausible fight led by Ian as he is determined to do ANYTHING to get his daughter back. The book kept my attention and was a fairly quick read, but great literature it's not.
review 2: Well if you like criminal minds you will like this book! I never heard of this author but loved the jacket and what it was about so I bought it a few yrs ago wish I would have read it sooner! Yike
... mores....Ian Hunt gets a 911 call (as he is the dispatcher) and its his daughter who was kidnapped 7 yrs ago! Daddy I need you he is coming! What would you do! OMG I was freaking thinking ok is this a trap to draw this guy out and kill him? No not really it seems Henry Dean lives with his wife Bea and their child died so Henry stole one to replace her! He is very twisted this book was really good it takes you thru them trying to find the girl Maggie who is now 14 and what a dad will go thru to save his child will put any parent right there, half dead or not you will save them no matter the costs! Definitely recommend couldn't put it down! * * * * Liked this author I will read less
