review 1: Enjoyed this book almost as much as the first one! I loved hearing about the girls as adults. It is amazing how easy it was to get right back into the setting and characters as the author did a wonderful job picking up the story 10 years later. Lots of wonderful characters, people I would love to be friends with and felt that connection in both books, I would love to have more of these Bright Ideas books! The way the author connected the bright ideas to the tone of the story was another enjoyable aspect of Ms. Kring's writing. Thank you for introducing me to these lovely characters, I miss them already!
review 2: So, I would really give this book a 2.5 rating. I think it was good until the end when she tied everything up in a neat little bow in five pages.
... more I knew it was headed that way chapters ahead, but I was hoping she wouldn't do it, but she did. I have to admit, I didn't really read the last several pages - I skimmed them. Too bad, because the book was good up until then. I didn't really like two of the main characters, but it was good summer time book. less
