The Legend of ZERO
review 1: Awesome take on the end of the world as we know it. Sara has an amazing knack to effectively aussage other genres of writing and still stay firmly in the wheelhouse of sci-fi military. Her characters are incredibly compelling and realistic in their authenticity. I could imagine these were real people! Thank you Sara for your prose and spirit, I am in love with your writing prowess and imagination.
review 2: I have never been so excited by an author as when I first discovered Sara King's work. She is a master of character and it is especially evident in this new installment of the Zero saga. One word: SHAEL. In Shael, Ms. King has created the most beautifully poignant character I have ever read in science fiction.Forging Zero and Zero Recall are books about alie
... morens and space and humanity blending in as a tiny speck against the giant conglomeration that is an intergalactic Congress. Zero's Return is a book about Earth, about humans. It's about human genetic experiments learning what it means to be fully realized, it's about haggard and war-weary Congies learning to embrace their human side.Earth has been abandoned by Congress, left to be obliterated by city-ravaging monsters. Do we still have the stuff of survival? If you're wondering if this series is for you, stop. It is. Everyone can enjoy this series, even those who aren't traditional fans of sci-fi. No technobabble here. Just a raw, good, intense, emotional, kick-ass story. less

Outstanding sequel to the Zero novels. Excellent characters, as usual, and plenty of action.
