Storm Front
review 1: Amalie Pope decideds it is time to live in the wonderful mansion that she inherited from her late Grandmother. To heal from a shooting that happened in her old town. A little R&R never hurt anyone right? She is there barely an hour when a tornado rips thru the Bayou country and she is lucky that her house is still intact. In that tornado a child went missing, Bobby that was in part2 and there are 4 prisoners unaccounted for.... One of them being an undercover DEA operative Nick Aroyo. thinking it was a neighbor knocking on her door it turns out to be the 4 escapees and she is held hostage in her own house. One guy has the hots for her, and while others are sick, it is hard for Nick to help others and protect any woman much less Amalie from Lou.Since the storm she is safe ... morefrom Mother Nature but not necessarily from what Mother Nature has brought to her front door
review 2: The story is so interesting. I couldn't put the book down. I read it in a day. Nick Aroyo is an undercover DEA agent. Amalie Pope just survived a school shooting and now a tornado and has 4 men come to her home and take her hostage, she falls in love with Nick but the other three prisoners are mean to her. Still she takes care of them, feeds them, is kind to them. One is out to rape and kill her but Nick saves her and they fall in love. She gets away and escapes with Nick but he goes back to the house where the other prisoners are and tells them she escaped while she goes to find her friends home 5 miles away on foot. She arrives exhausted and he takes care of her. He takes her to the police and she saves Nick. The other three are arrested and taken to prison. They take Nick away to but he goes back undercover. They think he was taken to a different prison. There is an accident and Lou escapes when the prison van causes an accident ... he goes back to hurt Amalie but Nick and the police save her. She kills Lou in the end and her and Nick live happily ever after. Just an awesome storyline. I loved every minute of this book, I was never bored with it at all. Sharon Sala writes the most exciting stories!! LOVE her books!! less

Not one of Sala's best, but certainly worth reading. Entertaining and satisfying.
