review 1: Another amazing goblin book!Dai spent two thousand years studying magic to try and find a way out if the Druids curse, but to no avail. Now in the human realm that same magic is getting him into trouble, but Dai refuses to stop using it. The human Amanda has enthralled him, her sick daughter needs help that only he can give and his goblin cousin has been turned back to human and needs saving. With his soul on the line will Dai be able to let his horrendous past go and live for the future? Or will he succumb to the darkness inside him?
review 2: Not my normal genre, but this book was addictive! It was a bit repetitive through the beginning (Dai was wounded in body and spirit, Amanda had a sick daughter and couldn't take chances...yes, we get it), but that could... more have been because I read so much of it at once. In any case, the repetition ended as both Dai and Amanda grew as people, and the style was so easy to read I just kept going. The resulting story was well worth my time :-) less
