review 1: This intriguing series of seven books by seven authors is held together by a grandfather who leaves quests in his will for his grandsons to complete. The grandson in Devil's Pass is Jim Webb, who goes by his last name. He is becoming hard and callous in reaction to an abusive stepfather, but the quest which takes him from Toronto to Arizona to North West Territories to Tennessee helps him to make positive rather than reactive choices in life. Many plot turns and flashbacks hold the reader's interest.
review 2: I thought that Sigmund took this book to a whole new level with all of it's cliff hanging details... Literally!! One thing that i liked about this book was that it had so many things to look forward too like if the "man" would get him or not and in the... more end seeing the heart that he gave his main character Webb. I thought that this was a great overall book and anyone that likes books about suspense or adventure will love this book. less
