review 1: I was bored bored bored with this one. I simply didn't care who murdered whom and what that meant for the lovely town folks. I did want her to get with Detective Gordan, and I liked thier parts together. I hated how little Kathleen would just jump right into things. And I wasn't expecting what's his face to show up and wrench things up. Now I have to read book give-which I actually already have, as I bought them all at the same time-and see her pick the detective. Which I know she will do I just don't know how soon. (Not in the first 30 pages. I've read those already. I wish I didn't have to sleep-I just want thier happily-ever-murder-filled-after.)
review 2: Once again, this installment of the Magical Cats series did not disappoint! The characters now all feel... more like old friends and the small town of Mayville Heights feels like home. The mystery was good and the interaction between the cats and their owner was very entertaining. The ending, however, snuck up on me! The last page left me eagerly anticipating the next book! Looking forward to the release in Oct! less
