review 1: What the heck did I just read? O.oI can't even decide if I liked it or not, it was just intensely confusing ... And yet I wanted to read more to find out what was actually happening. It's fair to say, that I probably won't finish the rest of the series, just because it put me through too many unwanted emotions and to be honest, I didn't care for any of the characters and NOTHING made sense, it was all over the shop. Scarlett and Dante just annoyed the crap out of me. I did not believe for a moment that they "loved" each other... It all seemed like an act with their bi-polarness towards each other especially when Grace gets involved ... I wanted to slap her every time she was mentioned or appeared ... I did not like her. Or any of them, for that matterOne of the good things... more about this book though, was the concept and the powers - they were epic. How they were executed ... Not so much -.-My Rating:3.5/10
review 2: Uuuuugghhhh, IDK what to rate this!!! This is a major problem, you guys! Like, a super big problem, even bigger than the problems teens have in all these adventure stories I keep reading. Man, teens have the worst problems! But anywho, to reel it back in from my tangent, I'm going to grant Sonny Daise 5 stars for imagination, -1000 stars for writing skill and 3,000,000 stars for being a bitch and cutting her story off just a few chapters in to try and trick me into buying the rest of it with real money by pretending that it's followup books. No, sweetheart, a complete book is complete, not just stopped at a cliffhanger to entice the reader into reading more. (Although, smart idea. SMART! You must be a teen or something, cuz everyone knows they're the smartest.)This story was all over the damn place. (Reminded me of the authorings of the genius Tyra Banks and her epic tome of Modelland.) All kinds of shit happened in this book and none of it made any damn sense, but man was it fun to read! I seriously had the best time blowing through this little short story this evening. A much better time than I normally have reading most books of any literary value. Obviously this isn't anything that's going to be well written. It's barely coherent. I mean, just look at the cover. What you see is what you get. But once you figure out what the hell it is Daise is trying to say in her confused sentence structure you're like, "Woah, this shit is fucked up. Let me read more! I wonder what the hell is going on, because I'm SO confused right now." The story is mostly plot driven and the plot is quite... imaginative. It reads as if Daise is making it up as she goes along, with no proof reading or anything. This would make a really fun blog to read. I know i'd subscribe. But I sure as heck am not spending any money on the rest of this. LOL I originally had set my rating at 1 star for this "book," but now that I'm done reviewing it I think I'll give it 5 stars because it obviously had enough of an impression for me to keep going on and on about it. So there, you damn tease. There's your 5 star rating! May it bring you no joy! less

Loved the fast paced story. I'm glad I didn't have to wait for the second book to come out!
