review 1: This zombie sub-plot is only a small detail of what this whole trilogy is all about. Self-contempt, atonement, and redemption, set the tone in this post-apocalyptic tale. Plus, Littlefield puts out a number of shockers to keep her audience on the edge of their seat. Overall, Horizon leaves its audience emotionally satisfied by the end of this story, particularly with the romance. I really loved it, and wish there were more trilogies like this. I look forward to Littlefield's future work.
review 2: I don't quite know what to say....The entire Aftertime trilogy was a very dark, disturbing, yet moving, and inspiring story of Cass Dollar. My heart breaks for her, weeps with her, cheers her on, and sighs in disappointment of her. I felt so connected to this characte... morer, to the realism of the story, to Smoke and Dor and Ruthie,.... Thank you Sopihe Littlefield for giving me a trilogy to rant about, rave about, and share with others! Lol... Because that is my intention! I will recommend this one to MANY customers in my store! less
