It is a continuation of 4 Bodies and a... more Funeral so if you didn't read the first one, then you will have a hard time following the storyline. Background: Carlotta and Wesley Wren were abandoned by their mother and father, when he was indicated for embezzlement and fraud. From riches to ruin, Carlotta struggles to raise her younger brother, foregoing college to keep a minimum wage job. Her current job as a sales assistant at Neiman's provides a meager income while she sells designer clothing to all her old high school pals. Wesley has a part time job picking up bodies for a local funeral home. Occasionally, Carlotta fills in, anything for a payday. Everything that can go wrong, has gone wrong. Wesley has big criminal/legal troubles; ex-fiancée, Peter, is definitely back in the picture; Jack is an elusive, uninvolved lover; Dad is alive; and Carlotta's job is at risk and to top it all off - she is being stalked by a killer.
