review 1: Strong title, enticing subtitle, mediocre/misleading execution.1. The Rise of Superman is well written. I breezed through it.2. It's misleading. There isn't much actionable advice for the average person. This book is about action & adventure athletes who risk their lives to do things we previously thought impossible. Mountain climbing, surfing, skateboarding, skiing, and skydiving get the full treatment. You and I? Not so much.Would I recommend it? Yes, but in the same way I'd recommend eating a nice curry. It's a pleasant time, but you won't get too much out of it.
