review 1: Deceivingly simple read. I read it in an hour, but it's definitely one you want to read and read again, especially when you are struggling to start or see through a project. Littered with humor and nuggets of wisdom, at times this book is spot on. At other times this book is focused a little heavy on the artistic expressions and projects that the author is so familiar with and so it makes it one more step of resistance to translate that advice into the self-development, daily grind type that so many people could use. Overall a very helpful read and I'd put it on the bookshelf right next to Outwitting the Devil.

... moreinishing. Stephen Pressfield is a seasoned author and challenges and encourages you about how to be stubborn enough to not quit. It's quasi spiritual and not a list of practical tips and tricks. It's a very short emotional appeal. Not poorly written. Just pretty simple. less
