review 1: This book, along with the study guide, were life-changing. It wasn't that it was filled with elusive revelations or enlightening theology. This changed my life because it showed me so many of they ways that prayer can change every aspect of my life when I saturate myself with the Word and pray without ceasing. After finishing the 30-chapter study guide, I decided to pray one prayer from the book each day--the first prayer on the first of the month, the second prayer on the second day of the month and so on. The timing is always so perfect, too, One day I woke up feeling under the weather and that was the day I prayed for health! God is so good!!
review 2: I'm a big fan of all Stormie's books - this is the third I've read - and she delivers another great prayer... more guide. I find that reading a chapter a day and really focusing on the prayers and Scripture in each one is the best way to read her books. I've read two as part of month-long book clubs and I don't tend to get as much out of them as I do when I give them more time and attention. Highly recommend this book to praying women everywhere! less
