review 1: I am really enjoying this series. I do have to say that the synopsis of these books give you a different idea of what they are about. When my husband read the back of one, he thought it was about sex. It really is not and I think that is what pulled me in. I love Gabriel and Julia - they are one of my favorite couples! Their relationship is intriguing and fascinating. I love reading about how everything unfolds. And for 3/4 of the book, they didn't even sleep together....I loved that!
review 2: Wow....I didn't want to put this book down. I absolutely adore Gabriel but oh how I felt Julia's pain of him leaving her. I completely understand why he did what he did and his reasoning for justifying why he never told her what he was planning but honestly the pain th
... moreat he caused Julia in doing so was truly unforgivable. If he was able to leave little messages hoping for Julia to understand what was going on then why couldn't he have just told her instead. For a while there reading this I felt like Gabriel perhaps wasn't as caring about Julia and her feelings as I would have hoped. I suppose their situation was a bit of a catch 22....damned if you do, and damned if you don't. I really hope book number three finds more happiness for these two and doesn't see Gabriel taking their happiness in to his own hands again by resorting to dealing with things on his own. The love these two share is with out a doubt a most beautiful love story. They just need to learn to do things together and openly with one another for it to truly work. less
